Today’s Hadith is about: Prophet’s advice to fear Allah
Hadith on why you should be wary of Allah
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said in his farewell Hajj: “Wherever and in whatever circumstances you are, fear Allah.” [Tirmidhi]
What do we learn from this Hadith?
Fearing Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) genuinely involves dreading to disobey Him. The benefit of obeying Allah reaches out to both this world and the Hereafter as we have been advised in many ayats of the Quran and in many ahadith.
“Furthermore, whosoever fears Allah and keeps his obligation to Him, He will clear a path for him to get out (from each trouble). In addition, he will give him from (sources) he never could envision.” [Surah at-Talaaq, Ayat 2-3]
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyah says: “Just as righteousness brings about sustenance, the abandonment of righteousness causes poverty. There is nothing which can bring about sustenance like the abandonment of sins.” [Al-Jawab Al-Kafi]
Defiance causes the favours of Allah (swt) to stop and makes His vengeance legitimate: No blessing stops to reach a worker aside from as a result of a wrongdoing, and no reprisal is caused legal upon him to with the exception of due to a transgression.
Before carrying out something always start with ‘bismillah’ and that way you will be on the right path and Allah’s support will be with you. It will also help you from committing sins.
Ali ibn Abi Talib (radi Allahu anhu) said: “No trial has descended except due to a sin and it (the trial) is not repelled except by repentance.
So we should always be conscious of Allah swt and that any of our blessings can be stopped at any one moment. We should make it a habit to be grateful to him on a daily basis and always think about those who are worse off than us. It will enable you to appreciate all the small blessings that Allah has blessed with no matter how small it may look in your eyes.
